Android Oreo Devices list

Google has recently launched its new Android OS 8.0 aka the Android Oreo. The new Android OS promises a smoother and more efficient experience and in some ways, this is the most advanced Android OS. Features like Picture-in-Picture mode, smart text selection, customisable notification channels etc. make it the most advanced Android OS. However, Google hasn’t reviled the roll-out date of the new Android OS.

Google’s smartphones Pixel and Nexus will be the first phones to get Android Oreo update, the company might be launching its new Pixel phone with Android Oreo in October.

Apart from Google Pixel and Nexus, here is a list of smartphones which are expected to get early access to the new Android 8.0 Oreo:

Xiaomi

The Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi hasn’t officially announced a list of devices with Android 8.0 update. But according to IBTimes Xiaomi will be giving Android Oreo updates its handsets, including Mi5, Mi6, Redmi Note 4, Mi Mix and Mi Max 2.

By the end of this year, some non-Goggle smartphone company will be manufacturing devices with the latest Android 8.0. “We’ve been working closely with our partners over the last many months, and by the end of this year, hardware makers like Essential, Huawei, HTC, Kyocera, LG, Motorola, HMD Global Home of Nokia Phones, Samsung, Sharp and Sony are scheduled to be launching or upgrading new devices to Android 8.0 Oreo,” said Google in Blog post.
